Training gloves vs. sparring and competition gloves

These Gorilla Sports boxing gloves are so-called training gloves. They are intended exclusively for training on inanimate objects such as punch bags or punch balls. They are thinly padded and can be put on and taken off without help thanks to the open thumb. When sparring with a partner, much thicker padded gloves are used, which not only protect your hands but also your opponent. Competition gloves have slightly thinner padding than sparring gloves and are manufactured according to the specifications of the responsible boxing association.
